I am late in commenting about many things but I have thought about LDCCW Sunday frequently since October 27, so here you go.
How do you explain the Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women to a priest, husband or another woman in your parish. This coffee cup started it for me. It was my first convention and the gift to everyone was a coffee cup. Hey, they can be all that bad if they drink coffee! Someone might ask you if they pray? Absolutely, every meeting, every activity begins with prayer. What do they do in these meetings? Well, I can't lie if I said we don't socialize, we do! We are a group of women who work together for the common good. We work through out ways to improve our laws. When the legislature in in session, you will be informed! We work through how to help the poor. We work through on how to educate other individuals on the sanctity of life from birth to natural death.
For me it started with a coffee cup. How about you?
